I am currently doing my work experience with James and Izzy on the riverside project in Nantwich. On Sunday 12th October I arrived at Brookfield Car Park. BBC radio Stoke were around presenting their gardening show with Carol Adams from Reaseheath for gardening tips, they also had their nostalgia show, reminiscing memories of the river. Even Doug told everybody listening to the show about how he used to scrump to order from his local vicarage! Also the willow weavers were showing children and adults how to create a perfect woven willow ornaments, such as fish and snails!

There was also the chance to help plant some plug plants like Cowslips next to where the ground was being rotavatored ready for the wild flower seeds. Throughout the day more and more people came to visit and just as we were packing away more people came to see the display boards!
